Infrastructure Technician, Contract in Germany

My Client is looking for a Infrastructure Technician.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the reputable international organisation based in Germany. The contract duration is three years, with two options to extend activities by a further year.

In addition to having a recognized technical qualification in the relevant domain, the Consultant shall have a minimum of five years experience in the following areas:
- Infrastructure planning, including server and control rooms layout design and racks layout, taking into account the opportunities afforded by today's enhanced environmental awareness (Green IT);
- Maintenance of complex infrastructure drawings, using dedicated software packages;
- Design and implementation of infrastructure monitoring systems;
- Inventory control, with awareness of asset management systems;
- Racks installation, cable laying and equipment installation and testing;
- Installation and pointing of Antennas;
- Voice Loop systems;
- Hardware maintenance of servers and workstations;

Applicants must be fluent in English. Knowledge of French would be an advantage.
